Change Room Team is thrilled to announce the launch of our latest project – Repair Rebels, platform for fashion and shoes repairs!
PROBLEM: The 21st century fashion business models have led to major environmental damage, social injustice and psychological distress to our society. With global fashion production more than doubling in the last 15 years, it is clear that the world does not need more clothes and that the most sustainable garment is the one we already own .
However, as consumers we oftentimes find caring and repairing our fashion goods exhaustive and unfashionable. Moreover, globalization of the supply chains led to diminishing craftsmanship in the western economies and the fast fashion industry made repairing clothes rather obsolete.
SOLUTION: We are building a platform where technology meets traditional crafts. Digital, convenient and entertaining! By digitalizing the local crafts industry, we offer a real alternative to “buy, use, dispose” culture and foster a “Circular Economy” approach to fashion production and consumption. We provide users with an easy way to repair, while doing their part for a greener planet and securing local jobs!
Just recently, Repair Rebels has been selected to join the DigiHub Düsseldorf and VodafoneUPLIFT Ignition Acceleration Program and will be part of the Batch #10! Over the next months we will build and perfectionize our service and will be launching in spring. So be a rebel and start repairing with us!

We call for business professionals, startups and changemakers to join us on a journey towards more circular approaches in fashion!
The German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel has spoken out in favour of an establishment of a Supply Chain Law. The so-called “Lieferkettengesetz” is about to be defined and put in action by the end of the year 2020. The new law will hold German companies accountable in Germany for the breaches in the labour right and environmental safety regulations, throughout their entire supply chain.
An antidote to the “buy new” habit!
